Q How many kids do you help each year?

A Last year, we served 7,500 Indianapolis youth. Those youth were served at one of our 11 Clubs throughout Marion County.

Q Is Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis a United Way agency?

Yes we are. Our mission and programs align with United Way’s focus on education and health and approximately 20% of our annual budget is provided by the United Way of Central Indiana.

Q Does Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis receive government funding?

Yes. Most of the government funding we receive is directed towards school-based Club operations. Government funding also covers costs associated with food used to feed youth during the summer intersession. With government funding, the Clubs also manage AmeriCorps locally as well as other programs. Approximately 40% of our budget is from government funding.

Q How much does it cost to enroll a kid?

A The cost is $15 per school year.
