Club Kid Success Stories

Optimized-_MG_7625 SMALL

Our Club kids are overcoming tremendous challenges and reaching new goals every day. Whether youth are getting higher grades because of the tutoring they receive at the Clubs; learning to swim or play a new sport; improving their behavior or giving back to others; we want to highlight and celebrate all of the many ways our kids are getting better and better.

Take a look at just a few of the many success stories that are happening in thousands of youth’s lives each year.

Nevaeh found new confidence and became an A and B student, thanks to the Clubs

Nevaeh is one of the coolest 9-year-olds you’ll ever meet. She is talkative, opinionated, intelligent and is, in her words, “fantabulous.” You’d never guess that just a year ago, when she first started coming to the Boys & Girls Club, that she was terrified. Find out more on how the Clubs helped Nevaeh here.

As a former Club kid for 11 years, Chayzée Smith believes the Clubs changed his life

Chayzée Smith started attending our Keenan-Stahl Club at age 7. He recalls growing up in a neighborhood full of violence, drugs and poverty-level living. In order to keep from being bullied, Chayzée would leave home very early to head to school and afterschool, he’d rush home to avoid trouble. More on his story here.
